Leslie Escobar

Cali Born Vegas Raised. I’m an undergraduate at UNLV who’s crazy enough to go for a double major and minor. Fingers crossed, I’ll be a 2022 graduate! I’m studying psychology, art with a focus in photography, and anthropology. I’m also working as a Family Resource Specialist at The Harbor, an organization that assists families and youths at risk. It has always been my dream to help others through art. My goal is to work as an art therapist with young children and adolescents. I believe in the power of creative expression as a means of arriving at healing. Art is capable of producing emotions as much as it is also able to embody them as well. 

I enjoy photography for the mindfulness it instills through its detailed nature. Photography enables one to be present in the moment- and that’s what it’s all about, photography is about keeping the key moments within our lives in a tangible way. Photos are more than just an image; they’re records of memories. I hope to preserve valuable memories for a long time to come!
